Nice to meet ya’ll!

My name is Kate and I say “ya’ll” a lot, just FYI.

Road tripping across Texas is one of my favorite hobbies! I am a first generation native Texan in my family, and maybe that’s where my passion for exploring this friendly state came from. I was born in Austin, Texas. My family moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area when I was about two years old. I have been living in the DFW metro area for 36 years now. I have seen and explored a lot of what the city has to offer, and it has some pretty fun stuff don’t get me wrong, but there is so much to explore outside the city limits.

I was an elementary school teacher for 12 years, then transitioned to stay-at-home mom/homeschool mom the last couple of years. I’ve been married for 10 years and have 3 kiddos. We love exploring new places together! Other than road tripping, I love to go jogging, study homeopathy, binge read cookbooks and cooking magazines, and also design my imaginary farm or ranch that will hopefully be real one day.
